Moderator
Aidan is a founding Partner of NEMIC (New England Medical Innovation Center) and a partner in Magpie Medtech Venture Fund, with a focus on supporting early stage medical technologies realize first funding and guidance through commercialization. Aidan's passion for innovation and design has helped bring hundreds of products to market that range from simple drug compliance aids to wearable therapeutics, home monitoring products and complex surgical systems.

In 2008, Neil took the helm of the Rhode Island Foundation; during his tenure as CEO he successfully strengthened the Foundation's position of the leading philanthropic entity in the state. He led long-term health and education planning efforts with experts in the two sectors, and initiating and leading ‘Make it Happen’ planning efforts to spur on economic development and small business support as the state rebounded from the 2008 economic crisis, and again in 2021.
As the Chief Operating Officer at Iantrek, David helps client companies figure out how to meet their objectives; whether they are business organization and management goals or product development and quality system milestones. He has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry including extensive knowledge of product development and the interactions between business, engineering and regulatory affairs.
As the founder of Flourish Care, Melissa has made finding a solution to improve maternity care in the US her mission. She has grown the brand into a maternal healthcare company that empowers families with wellness programs and insurance-reimbursed community care, including doulas, from pregnancy to parenthood.
​Peter Nuytkens, an accomplished medtech entrepreneur with a rich portfolio of over 70 patents, has notably contributed to advancements in CT technology and diabetic care. After being diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2017, he pivoted to develop a non-invasive device to combat the disease. Leveraging his expertise in engineering from Duke and MIT, Peter experienced significant health improvements using the IRIS device, including a 66% improvement in his Parkinson's progression score and a 50% reduction in his medication dosage, showcasing the potential of his innovative approach.
